After attending Chethams School of Music, Caroline was awarded a scholarship to study with Joan Havill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Caroline completed the BMus course and postgraduate Advanced Solo Studies course, graduating in 1997.

During her studies at the School, Caroline won a number of prizes and awards including the Claude Beddington Prize for Beethoven, the Gregory Salzman Piano Award, and the Sheriff's Award for the highest final recital marks. She was then awarded a scholarship to attend the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada where she worked with John Perry, Gilbert Kalish and Anton Kuerti and performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician.

Caroline has performed in various music festivals around the world, including the Orford Arts Festival in Quebec, the European Arts Festival in Germany, the Brighton Festival and Guildford International Music Festival in Britain. She made a documentary for Carlton TV which featured her playing Chopin's original piano.

Her acclaimed international career spans the globe with performances and tours in New Zealand, Germany, France, Sweden, South Africa, Denmark and Eastern Europe.

Caroline has toured Ireland as the soloist in Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto, and has given recitals in St. John's Square (London), the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Chichester Cathedral, Eastborne Pro-Music Series, and the International Holland Music Sessions.

She has recorded a solo piano CD and recently returned from Qatar where she played for the Emir. Caroline also plays in a duo in Britain and Austria with cellist Orfeo Mandozzi.

Caroline is currently working on a project which features a series of concerts in association with the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Canadian Womens Club, and MusiCanada here in London.
