Grand Pianos

Setup in 1853 our "Classic Edition" Grand pianos and our "Imperial Collection" Grand pianos have established a reputation which has survived for over 150 years, and many of the worlds most famous artists and musical connoisseurs agree that Bluthner has reached the height of perfection in grand piano design.

Today's grand and concert grand pianos attained their present forms by the end of the 19th century. Carefully selected materials and modern technology are the trademarks of our success and improvements are continually made in the manufacturing processes; many individual details of the instrument continue to receive attention to this day!

Although we continually update our designs, the impressive quality of Bluthner Grand pianos has remained unchanged since Julius Bluthner founded the company in 1853. Being amongst the highest quality of Grand pianos available today means that extra special care is used in selecting the raw materials and assembly. We use pine and red beech in the construction of our grand pianos and each species serves a special need.

Our Grand pianos are renowned for their rich, warm tones which are a product of our superior craftsmanship; this makes Bluthner Grand pianos the choice of professionals time and time again.
